How It Works for Partners
Mitacs Accelerate creates dynamic collaborations between your organization and UofT students. You contribute starting at $7,500 CAD per four- or six-month internship, and Mitacs matches it to create a $15,000 CAD research award.

Internships are repeatable: For example, 3 four-month internships = one full year of research with sponsored funding
Eligible organizations: For-profit corporations (must receive more than 50% of funds from non-government sources), eligible not-for-profit corporations, municipalities, or hospitals in Canada. International organizations can participate as additional partners on projects with a Canadian partner.
