Industry Speaker Seminars

CARTE hosts industry speaker seminars on the applications of analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning in various industries. Our industry speakers are experts in their field and share their insights on how emerging methodologies and technologies are used to make a lasting impact on their performance. These seminars are a great venue to learn about real-world applications of AI, contribute ideas, get familiar with pioneering organizations and establish partnership collaborations. Hackathons

We run student competitions on emerging methodologies and technologies in close collaboration with external partners. In 2022, we ran a first-of-its-kind hackathon on Robotic Process Automation in collaboration with Wrk and Blue Prism.

Civic Tech Toronto

Engage with the power of collaborative innovation at the intersection of technology, design and civic challenges! CARTE is proud to host Civic Tech Toronto, an energetic and diverse community of dedicated Torontonians. Civic Tech Toronto’s Hack Nights are held both virtually and in-person. These meetings provide a dynamic space where individuals of various backgrounds unite to learn, share and collaborate on civic tech projects aimed at improving life in Toronto.

Each event features engaging speakers, sharing of civic tech stories and collective work on projects of all shapes and sizes. Everyone from tech professionals and enthusiasts, to curious citizens are welcome to attend. No matter your skill level or background, your contribution can help us make our city safer, more welcoming and enjoyable for all.
