Hockey Hack Day in Canada (HHDC) is a multi-campus hackathon, to be held on March 27th and 28th, 2020. This year, we are partnering with Stathletes to provide state-of-the-art hockey game data to our participants.

The involvement of analytics & data science in hockey is increasing, with several teams establishing or growing their analytics departments annually. As the added value of analytics in hockey is realized over time, this trend should continue for years to come.

HHDC provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in the field of sports analytics with an exclusive rich dataset. Moreover, we aim to give students the ability and opportunity to improve their practical skills with data analysis and get exposure to working professionals in the field.
