The Centre for Analytics and AI Engineering (CARTE) is hosting the second industry speaker seminar of this academic year on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in financial industries . The speakers are Baiwu Zhang and Christine Yuen. Baiwu is an Applied AI researcher and Christine is an AI Developer in the Bank of Montreal AI Capabilities Team. In this seminar, Baiwu and Christine will discuss how AI can be used in financial industries, and what challenges are present given various regulations. They will also discuss what skills are important in machine learning related positions and share their advice on securing such positions during these uncertain times. The seminar will be recorded and made available through CARTE’s Youtube channel.
